Senior Software Engineer – JAVA Lead

You will be part of a team that is responsible for StraViso internal engineering infrastructure and services. This work will span private and public cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, applications, and platforms. The team is responsible for planning, designing and implementing end-to-end, self-service solutions and coordinating with internal teams and outside vendors. You will engage in large projects, work through analysis, design and implementation to deliver viable cloud solutions to solve StraViso engineering challenges.

Job Description

Role Requirements & Responsibilities

• JAVA/Spring Boots developer with overall 4+ years of application development experience
• 2+ years in RESTful WEBAPI 2.0
• 2+ Spring Boot experience is must
• 4+ years’ coding experience in JAVA technologies
• Working knowledge of multi-threading, Java Executor, Collections, JPA, and encryption
• Databases – MySQL, Redis and Mongo DB
• Extensive experience in coding, debugging, troubleshooting, defect fixing and algorithm buildings
• Experience into technical design & Solutioning
• Experience in code review and standardization
• Good to have:
  • GitLab
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Dockers / Kubernetes) and Azure
  • Redis, Elastic, Kafka usage experience
  • Auth 2.0 /Octa
  • Stomp Web sockets
  • Performance optimization

Who You Are and What Makes You Qualified:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience
• Ability to solve problems with keen instincts and organizational experience
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycles, web technologies, web development
• C-DAC PG Diploma in Advanced Computing would be a plus
• You must be reliable & have good time management skills
• You will have excellent problem-solving skills
• You’re able to think on your feet, and are highly self-motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude
• You are required to attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills
